We are going by exit 22, that will take us to the town of Pictou! In Pictou N.S.; the Loyalists came to Nova Scotia in 1782-1783. They arrived, on the Mayflower.
We are 3 km away from the Trenton Military Base, also a Steel Factory.
On exit 25, There is the Westray Mine, where the Mine Explosion Disaster happened. It changed ALL the safety laws in Nova Scotia. Many people were killed. This all happened in 1958!
We are 106 km to Cape Breton Island.
Here is a math question for all of you students!~
If I am driving at 110 km/h, how long will it take to go 106 km?

I have to drive 300 km, and im driving 100 km/h. How many hours will it take for me to get there?
We just passed the new highway being built, and went under the new overpass, hishway construction!
We have passed East Pictou Middle School.
